Cersaie Bologna 2023 was held on a 140,000 m2 exhibition space and feature 6 thematic areas to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The 6 thematic areas include “Building, Dwelling, Thinking”, “Press Cafes”, “Tiling Town”, “Cersaie Designs Your Home”, “Cersaie Upstairs” and “Route 40”.

Building, Dwelling, Thinking: It is Cersaie’s cultural program based on architecture and design. Cersaie invites top architects from all over the world to share their knowledge with the attendees. 10 Pritzker Prize winners were invited to the event including Shigeru Ban, Kazuyo Sejima, Rafael Moneo, Norman Foster etc.

Press Cafes: An initiative featuring design and architecture discussion forums conducted in collaboration with leading publishing houses. These discussion forums aim to explore and discuss the current aspects of design and architecture through dialogue between industry experts and journalists. The location of the Press Cafes has been changed to the Mall between Halls 29 and 30. The magazines participating in this year’s Press Cafes include AD Architectural Digest, Elle Decor Italia, Ingenio, Interni, l'Arca International, NiiProgetti, Platform, etc.

Tiling Town: A special area dedicated to tiles and tile installation called Tiling Town will be organized. This area will be useful for tile makers, designers, and architects. Several training sessions and events will be held to demonstrate and discuss many technical aspects of tile installation.

Cersaie Designs Your Home: It is an area dedicated to home renovation and interior design solutions. It is a platform where leading Italian interior designers give free advice to the general public. It is an ideal opportunity to receive free expert advice on home renovation and interior design strategies.

Cersaie Upstairs: It is an elevated walkway located between galleries 21-22 and 25-26 and the mezzanine between halls 19-20. There will be four dedicated areas to welcome professionals, visitors, and exhibitors where refreshments and food will be served to them.

Route 40: This area will be organized to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Cersaie. It showcases and highlights the 40 years of Cersaie’s evolution through an exhibitive experience.
